Austell Pharmaceuticals
In my next role, I joined Austell Pharmaceuticals, where I’ve had the opportunity to focus more deeply on video production and AI-driven content creation. I’ve successfully developed and executed online and social marketing materials across all Austell brands, as well as for Shanur Pharmaceuticals — expanding creative impact and digital reach across both portfolios.
2016
VIP 247 / Blue Ion
Wanting a challenge, I started work at an agency that serviced a large group of online casinos, where I have had the opportunity to expand on my digital knowledge in design, interactive, and web development. In my time here I have worn many hats, starting as a senior designer, but also headed up the menu development team for 2 years, the SEO team for a year, and have introduced many ideas, systems, and promotions to the group.

Fleet Street Publications
After Flash fell in popularity, I pivoted my career and worked at Fleet Street Publications. Here my knowledge of print came in useful, as I worked on both print layouts and conversions to digital ebooks. I also made interactive content, newsletters, emailers, TV adverts, and product packaging among many things. During my time here I worked my way up to be the head of the creative team.
2006
iLogic
I got my ﬁrst full-time job at iLogic design agency, where I started oﬀ making banners and ﬂash games. I taught myself coding and web development best practices during this time, as well as large-scale print design, video editing, and interactive promotions.

Bachelor of Technology in Graphic Design
Tshwane University of Technology

I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, which started as a pottery and sculpture enrollment. At TUT, I worked in the print shop laying out textbooks in my ﬁrst year, and in my second to fourth year, I was a student helper, which entailed taking care of the Macs and lecturing the years below me in Flash.

VIDEO AND ANIMATION

My motion-based projects started out as flash-based animated and interactive banners. After the decline of flash, I used the skills and ideas developed there to create informational web videos. Working in a direct marketing based publishing house, I applied the principles they used in their print campaigns to create video advertising. These were not only used on the web, but were also aired on television with great response success.

In doing so, I also had the opportunity to learn sound recording, editing and creating background music and sound effects.

WEBSITE AND ONLINE DESIGN

I started my career as a banner designer. From here, I went more into flash banner and website design. When moving over to a publisher, after the decline of flash, I utilised the knowledge I had from web design and added the creation of web and digital books to my skill set, as well as creating and designing e-mail content and templates.

Logos & CI

I have worked with a diverse range of clients to design logos, corporate ID’s, business cards, letterheads and CIs.

I have also re-imagined existing logos that may have been old and outdated, and then produced marketing materials such as letterheads and business cards to complete the new looks. Here are some examples of my work.

PRINT AND PRODUCT DESIGN

Working in print is a passion of mine, and, with a vast range of projects successfully completed I view all new projects as a creative opportunity. I also confidently produce everything from magazine and newsletter layout to large format advertising or packaging.
